We are currently accepting applications at this time. Please contact us via email to request an application. Lost Acres Assistance Dogs, is formally know as Character Matters Service Dogs. The name was changed after a recent relocation.
We place service/assistance dogs nation wide with people with a wide range of disabilities. There is a small cost for these dogs and it is handled on a individual basis and sliding scale. Lost Acres Assistance Dogs is not a non-profit orginazation.
The majority of our dogs come from the breeding program at Lost Acres Farm, though we also work with the local breeders, and animal shelters.
We would
like to welcome our newest arrivals. They are 4 German Shepherd
puppies, they were donated by a local breeder. We have two males and
two females. Their names are Egon, Dakota, Ammie, and April.
